A specialized meeting of Iran’s Friendship Associations with other countries was held, hosted by the Foundation, under the theme of “Charity and Endowment (Waqf).” The event brought together senior officials and active members in the field.
The meeting was attended by the Social Affairs Advisor to the President and the Head of the Organization of Endowments and Charity Affairs, along with representatives of friendship associations, charity leaders, and cultural activists. Participants exchanged views on the role of charitable activities and waqf in strengthening cultural and social interactions between Iran and other countries.
Speakers emphasized the important role of civil society organizations in advancing cultural diplomacy and described waqf as one of the most effective instruments for achieving humanitarian and social objectives. They also highlighted the need for greater synergy among friendship associations, charitable institutions, and public entities to expand international cooperation.
The session further explored practical approaches to leveraging shared capacities in educational, cultural, and social fields, and presented proposals aimed at enhancing cross-border collaboration.
The meeting was organized as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the communication network of friendship associations and to expand charitable initiatives at both national and international levels, and was met with positive engagement from participants.
نشست تخصصی انجمنهای دوستی ایران با سایر کشورها با موضوع «خیریه و وقف» به میزبانی بنیاد و با حضور جمعی از مسئولان و فعالان این حوزه برگزار شد.
در این نشست، دستیار اجتماعی رئیسجمهور و رئیس سازمان اوقاف و امور خیریه به همراه نمایندگان انجمنهای دوستی، مدیران مؤسسات خیریه و فعالان فرهنگی حضور داشتند و درباره ظرفیتهای وقف و فعالیتهای خیریه در تقویت تعاملات فرهنگی و اجتماعی میان ایران و سایر کشورها به تبادل نظر پرداختند.
سخنرانان این برنامه با تأکید بر نقش نهادهای مردمی در توسعه دیپلماسی فرهنگی، وقف را یکی از مؤثرترین ابزارهای تحقق اهداف اجتماعی و انسانی دانستند و بر ضرورت همافزایی میان انجمنهای دوستی، مؤسسات خیریه و نهادهای حاکمیتی برای گسترش همکاریهای بینالمللی تأکید کردند.
در ادامه این نشست، راهکارهای عملی برای بهرهگیری از ظرفیتهای مشترک در حوزههای آموزشی، فرهنگی و اجتماعی بررسی و پیشنهادهایی برای تقویت همکاریهای فرامرزی ارائه شد.
این برنامه در راستای تقویت شبکه ارتباطی انجمنهای دوستی و توسعه فعالیتهای خیرخواهانه در سطح ملی و بینالمللی برگزار شد و با استقبال حاضران همراه بود.
