Abshar Afeteha Charity Launches “Eid to Eid” Festival in Karbala; From Financial Support to Facilitating Marriage Ceremonies

KARBALA – On the eve of the blessed Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadir, the “Abshar Afeteha” Charity Institution, through its branch in the holy city of Karbala, has launched a special campaign titled “Eid to Eid.” This initiative aims to provide a wide range of supportive and welfare services to orphans and the honorable Sayyid families.

According to the Public Relations office, in alignment with its mission in the presence of the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (AS), the institution has focused not only on financial aid but also on enhancing the quality of life and celebrating significant life milestones for the families under its care.

Supporting Marriage and Wedding Celebrations

A key highlight of this festival in the Karbala branch is the support for youth and needy families in their journey toward marriage. In observance of Eid al-Adha, Abshar Afeteha is actively providing wedding attire (formal and traditional clothing) and full arrangements for wedding ceremonies. These services include providing beautiful and suitable wedding halls and equipping all necessary celebratory requirements to ease the path to marriage for these families.

Financial Support and Cash Gifts

In addition to these welfare services, the campaign invites donors and philanthropists to participate by providing cash gifts, bringing double the joy to orphans and Sayyid families during the blessed days of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadir.

Organizers of this festival in Karbala emphasized that all these services are conducted with the aim of promoting the “Alawi culture” and fostering social cohesion among the beneficiary families.

Philanthropists wishing to participate in this festival or learn more about supporting marriage ceremonies for those under the charity’s care are encouraged to contact the Abshar Afeteha Charity Branch office in Karbala.
